There's a story behind everything I create. I built this site as a home for them. For code, schematics, and build instructions, instead visit my GitHub repository. I also leave a little place here to write about other people I've met, who are doing interesting things here in Viet Nam.
Many of my projects are electronic in nature. I also write software (and other fictional works). Occasionally I design products and create brands. I'm an adequate amateur photographer, the images on this site are my own unless otherwise indicated.
Electronic Business Cards
Most of my colleagues just take photos of business cards now instead of exchanging them. So why not do something more fun than a plain piece of paper?

I am one of very few immigrants to Viet Nam. My story is similar to immigrants elsewhere -- I came here looking for opportunities I could not find where I was. After some hardship I found them, integrated culturally, and continued to struggle with the language. In daily life, I'm effectively a Vietnamese person with funny round eyes and a speech impediment.
My hobbies include:
- Coding the unnecessary
- Prototyping the improbable
- Manufacturing the absurd
My professional life is not entirely dissimilar, although often less colorful (They must stoop, who gather gold). Mostly I manage engineering teams, but sometimes I design or otherwise produce software and hardware on my own.
